kubox plane compile

Turn a PlaneDeployment into the documents that build it

Synopsis

Reads one PlaneDeployment and prints what it compiles to, without touching anything. The point is that it can be READ before it is applied. The cluster document a plane is built from carries decisions that are invisible when they are wrong — on-demand instances, the ECR credential provider, the three-part gateway name — and each of those is a comment in a hand-written file today, which means each can be lost by somebody writing the next one from scratch.

kubox plane compile [flags]

Options

  -f, --file string              the PlaneDeployment to compile
  -h, --help                     help for compile
      --output-document string   which surface to print: summary, cluster, or install (default "summary")
